Description:
Tenders are invited for Public Procurement Contract for Advisory Services on Sustainable Financing and Business Models and Digital Marketing to the Tourism & Hospitality Sector Skills Council in Uganda The objective Today, the further development of the Council and its operational capacity is hampered by limited financial resources. A sustainable financing model with key products for income generation would raise funds for the T&HSSC to implement its action plan as well as contribute to sector skills development. The national TVET Policy (2019) strongly emphasizes an employer led TVET system and one of the core functions of the SSC is to mobilize resources/funds to invest in skills development. On the other hand, improved capacity of THSSC in digital skills would be beneficial to enhance use of digital tools and instruments to promote the council activities, and also help members and partner Business Management Organizations in responding to digital needs and conducting online business. Therefor the THSSC (through the VET Toolbox) seeks the support of a team of experts to strengthen its capacity in order to: • reflect upon and develop a sound and sustainably business model, leading to steady income generation and funding; • train and coach the members of the council on digital marketing skills and develop the required tools for this purpose (website, application, …) This request received the support of the Uganda Tourism Association and the Ministry of Education and Sports
