Expression of Interest are invited for Uganda: Affordability Study for Solid Waste Management in Greater Kampala The International Finance Corporation (IFC) and World Banks City Resilience Program (CRP), both part of the World Bank Group (WBG), are assisting the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) with improving municipal solid waste management (MSW) in Kampala, Uganda. A fundamental component of this improvement is to close the Kiteezi Landfill and develop a new facility (Ddundu Landfill) that can receive municipal solid waste (MSW) from Kampala and parts of the districts of Wakiso and Mukono. The project is expected to benefit a population of up to 3.5 million over a 12 - 15 year period. The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB and be a maximum of 20 pages. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
