• Expression of Interest are invited for Cassava Processing. (Re- Advertised) CALL FOR PROPOSALS Arua SEZ Ltd was incorporated to develop and operate a Free Zone in Arua Municipality-West Nile region of Uganda. Arua SEZ Limited was licensed by the Uganda Free Zone Authority to develop the Free Zone, .Arua SEZ Ltd aims at value addition and encouraging productivity as well as enhancement of exports in order to-reduce Uganda-s trade deficit. The targeted value chains include the following; Arua SEZ Ltd has received a project preparation facility from the Uganda Development Bank Limited to undertake the following Key studies necessary for the establishment of the Arua Special Economic Zone; 1) Baseline, Product and market studies to establish the need for the individual lines of business proposed to be positioned in the SEZ , their potential demand, required raw materials, potential production numbers as well as current and projected export quantities; 2) Financial Analysis of the project to establish project viability; 3) Detailed planning for the ware housing, water supply and handling system; 4) Development of Value Chain enhancement programs for each product that shall be produced in the Special Economic Zone; 5) Preparation of proposed Financial and equity Structuring for each project; 6) Preparation of the proposed sequencing for the implementation of the different processing facilities; Request for Expression of Interest(EOI) Arua SEZ Ltd invites eligible consultants to submit their EOI for the services indicated. Interested Consultants must provide information showing that they are qualified and have the relevant experience to execute the scope of service. Bid Documents: Interested companies should pick detailed Terms of Reference (T.O.R-s) from Arua SEZ Main offices, Procurement Department from 19th April 2021 to 30th April 2021: 10:00am to 4:00pm. Pre bid Meeting: 22nd April 2021, 10:00am to 11:00am. Bid Submission: Both technical and financial proposals to be submitted in hard and soft copy in a sealed envelope, clearly labeled and addressed to the Secretary Procurement Committee, Arua SEZ Limited. P.O. Box 6402, Kampala by 5th May 2021 not later than 5:00pm. Opening of Proposals: Bid Opening in accordance to Arua SEZ Limited, internal procedures shall take place on 10th May 2021. Kindly note that only successful bidders shall be contacted. If you do not hear from us within one month after the bid submission deadline, consider your bid unsuccessful.
