Description:
Tenders are invited for Framework contract for Consultancy Services for Conducting Instant Trainings for Different Livelihood Partners. Closing date : 04-09-2022 1.1.1.2 Specific requirements per lot The methodology shall be applied to all the different trades lotted as: Lot 1: Provision of trainings in Apiculture management in West Nile and Kiryandongo. This lot shall cover hands on practical management of apiary farm business and basic value addition practices, distribution of business startup to the livelihood group to venture in to apiary market opportunities within the refugee settlement and host communities and certification by DIT. Lot 2: Provision of training in Weaving and mat making in West Nile and Kiryandongo This lot shall cover practical crocheting skills, to make various demand mats like door mat, table mats, sweaters etc for purpose of operating crocheting businesses, distribution of business startup to the livelihood group to venture in to Weaving and mat making market opportunities within the refugee settlement and host communities and certification by DIT. Lot 3: Provision of training in Beads making in West Nile and Kiryandongo. This lot shall cover practical skills training on various marketable beads making business, distribution of business startup to the livelihood group to venture in to beads making market opportunities within the refugee settlement and host communities and certification by DIT. Lot 4: Provision of training in Leather work and shoe making in West Nile and Kiryandongo This lot shall cover practical skills training on various marketable Leather work and shoe making businesses, distribution of business startup to the livelihood group to venture in to leather work and shoe making market opportunities within the refugee settlement and host communities and certification by DIT. Lot 5: Provision of training in Tailoring and creative design (Making re-usable Pads etc) in West Nile and Kiryandongo. This lot shall cover practical skills training on various marketable Tailoring and creative design businesses, distribution of business startup to the livelihood group to venture in to tailoring and creative design market opportunities within the refugee settlement and host communities and certification by DIT. Lot 6: Provision of training in Agriculture (Horticulture, including Organic Manure and pesticide making, /or post-harvest handling and value addition) in West Nile and Kiryandongo This lot shall cover practical skills training on various marketable trades like Horticulture businesses, Organic manure making businesses, post-harvest handling, distribution of business startup to the livelihood group to venture into Horticulture businesses, or Organic manure making businesses, or post-harvest handling market opportunities within the refugee settlement and host communities and certification by DIT. Lot 7: Provision of training in green skills (nursery bed management) in West Nile and Kiryandongo. This lot shall cover hands on practicals on tree nursery bed management business, to make various demand driven tree seedling businesses for purpose of operating nursery businesses, distribution of business startup to the livelihood group to venture into tree seedling market opportunities within the refugee settlement and host communities and certification by DIT. Lot 8: Provision of training in Liquid, bar soap making West Nile and Kiryandongo. This lot shall cover hands on practicals on liquid and bar soap businesses, to make various demand driven soap making businesses for purpose of operating liquid and bar soap businesses, distribution of business startup to the livelihood group to venture into Weaving and mat making market opportunities within the refugee settlement and host communities and certification by DIT. Lot 9: Provision of training in entrepreneurship and basics on Village Savings and Loans Association in west Nile and kiryandongo This lot shall cover hands on practicals on business management and Village saving and loan association operation, to make various demand driven businesses for purpose of operating small-scale businesses, distribution of village saving and loan association business startup to the livelihood group to venture in to small scale business opportunities within the refugee settlement and host communities and certification by DIT. Lot 10: Poultry Management in West Nile and Kiryandongo This lot shall cover hands on practicals on Poultry Management, to make various demand driven businesses on commercial poultry farming businesses for purpose of operating small scale commercial poultry farming businesses, distribution of commercial poultry farming business startup to the livelihood group to venture in to small scale commercial poultry business opportunities within the refugee settlement and host communities and certification by DIT
