• Description:
• Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy Services for the Preparation of Sironko District Physical Development Plan and Urban Physical Development Plans for Seven (7) Selected Urban Centres within the District. This assignment is restricted to firms who are registered or incorporated in Bank Member Countries. UNRA now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by: i) Describing assignments of similar nature and scope conducted in areas of Urban Planning, Land Use Planning and Strategic Spatial Development Planning in at least the last ten (10) years; ii) Providing information on experience in preparation of at least one (1) District Physical Development or a Higher-level Land use / Spatial Plan; iii) Providing information on experience in preparation of at least two (2) neighborhood urban design plans OR detailed neighborhood plans, of which integration of parcel boundary mapping will be an added advantage. iv) Indicating availability of appropriate skills in physical planning among the consultant-s staff including among others: Physical Planner, Economist, Civil Engineer, Environmental Planner, Climate Change Expert, Surveyor, Sociologist, Agricultural Economist, GIS Expert/Specialist and Communication Expert.
