Expression of Interest are invited for End Line Data Collection Impact Evaluation Improvement of Land Governance (Uganda) Mailo is one of the customary land tenure systems in central Uganda, and prone to high levels of dispute between mailo land lords and tenants. In 2017 a pilot project started to increase mailo land productivity and tenants welfare, with activities like conflict mediation and parcel boundary demarcation as basis fro clarifying agreements. The World Bank is implementing an impact evaluation of this pilot for which baseline data were collected in 2017. End line data collection will take place between June and August, 2023. The (panel) household survey of 90 minutes with household and parcel rosters, will cover all aspects of mailo farming and land tenure. At baseline, the sample included 2800 households of mailo tenants and 3832 parcels located in Mityana and Mubende districts; 15% of the sample is in the 6 districts sharing boundaries. Land lords will also be interviewed.
