- Tenders are invited for Kampala Lighting and Infrastructure Improvement Project (KCLIIP). SUMMARY OF THE SCOPE OF WORKS The project will cover the following; - Supply and installation of autonomous solar street lighting units in Kampala along 290 km of roads of various widths, - Providing good lighting on pedestrian routes along the sidewalks and 693 pedestrian crossings will need extra specific lighting accentuation for safety. - Light accentuation will be brought to 160 specific road junctions. Luminaires with attractive design are expected on 10 outdoor markets. - The contract covers also lighting of 6 taxi parks and specific locations in 13 informal setlements. nonrefundable fee of UGX. 200,000.
