Description: UNDP Uganda with support from the Government of the Republic of South Korea is implementing the UgandaHost and Refugee Community Empowerment Project that started in 2019 and will be concluding in December 2023. This is an area-based, gender-responsive emergency livelihoods and economic recovery project, implemented using the UNDP 3X6 model. The project activities run in three practical interrelated phases with one leading to the other as per the UNDP 3X6 principles of Inclusion (Engage, Generate Income) - phase I, Ownership (Save, Joint Venture)-Phase II and Sustainability (Invest & Access to markets) - Phase III.To date, a total of 10,137 beneficiaries are enrolled onto the program against a target of 7,200 direct beneficiaries.
