• Expression of Interest are invited for Provision of Legal Services to Totalenergies EP Uganda B.V. Forthetilenga Project TotalEnergies EP UGANDA B.V. ('Company,' 'we'), in its capacity as Operator of Contract Area (CA) 1 and License Area (LA) 2N, invites experienced, qualified and reputable full-service law firms to express their interest in the provision of legal services. We expect selected Law Firms to have good appreciation of the Company's key business drivers to provide high quality, cost-effective and timely legal representation and advice while being able to collaborate and work effectively with the Company's Legal Department. It is expected that the interested law firms should have thorough working understanding of the Petroleum Laws and Regulations of Uganda, and other legislation or standards applicable to the Company's activities in Uganda. Interested companies should meet the following minimum requirements: • Valid registration on the National Supplier Database. • Possession of appropriate licenses and permits including Valid Approval of Chambers by the Uganda Law Council and valid Practicing Certificates of the firm's advocates. • At least 10 years' demonstrable experience in providing services in the oil and gas sector in Uganda. • A team of at least 10 lawyers with proven specialized experience in Petroleum law and the following additional areas; Commercial, Safety, Environment and Biodiversity, Human rights, Land and Social, Employment, Immigration, Tax, Dispute Resolution. • Good track record in Stakeholder Management. • Adequate financial capacity to undertake the eventual contract. • Good appreciation of Ethics and Anti Bribery and Corruption requirements in the Oil and Gas Industry. Interested companies who meet the above minimum requirements should submit their Expression of Interest request by email (emails should not exceed lOMBs) to: ep-ug-legal-dept@totalenergies.com to receive a pre-qualification questionnaire at or before 12h00 Kampala time on 31st May 2022 quoting ''Prequalification Questionnaire request Ref No: P016". Completed Prequalification Questionnaires should be submitted via Company's e-sourcing system SAP- ARIBA at or before at or before 12h00 Kampala time on 14lh June 2022 quoting "Completed Prequalification Questionnaire Ref No: P016”. Note: Only prequalified bidders will receive invitations to submit bids in furtherance of the Request for Proposal process. Pre-qualification and later the Request for Proposal, will be issued via Company's e-sourcing system SAP-ARIBA.
