• Expression of Interest are invited for Provision of Power Service Sockets and Switches BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SCOPE OF THE MATERIALS The EACOP requirements for the Power Service Sockets in Uganda and Tanzania shall include, but will not necessarily be limited to: Welding Sockets: 4 Wire (3PH+N) Die cast aluminium alloy LM6 for hazardous area and Fiber glass Reinforced Polyester (FRP) for safe area, enclosure shall be IP SS for industrial application and Minimum Ex'd' type for hazardous area. Socket shall be along with local isolator or protector switch. We-ding sockets shall be suitable for outdoor mount ng on steel or concrete column, handrail, wall, and pedestal. Industrial Power Sockets and Switches: 3 Wire (1PH*N*G) sockets and 2Pole or 3pole switches shall be in Die cast aluminium alloy LM6 for hazardous area and F ber glass Reinforced Polyester (FRP) for safe area, enclosure shall be IP 55 for industrial application and Minimum Ex'd* type *or hazardous area Sockets shall be along with local isolator or protector switch or shall be separate type. Power sockets or switches shall be suitable for outdoor mounting on steel or concrete column, handrail, wall, and pedestal. Domestic indoor Sockets / Switches: Modular Piano type Sockets and Switches for indoor facilities like office, facility building, and control room are required. Switches shall be lPole / 2Pole (lph* N) of polycarbonate material with nickel plated copper internal parts.
