• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Public Procurement Contract for Provision of Meeting Venues and Catering Services Karamoja. The contractor shall provide high quality service in an efficient manner. Enabel trainings, workshops and meetings organised are critical events for Enabel partners and stakeholders thus expect to have the following service quality;  The service provider must assign sufficient supporting staff to accommodate the organisers and respond to Enabel-s request.  The service provider must assign technical staff, IT, sound and to support on any technical logistics at any and all times during the conference/ meeting and at the request of Enabel.  To have competent staff to facilitate Enabel meeting and conferences.  Qualified IT personnel to assist in IT set up and requirements during conferencing  A security guard specifically for the equipment in the conference room. Specific requirements for the Conference/meeting venues:  Size of premises sufficient for the number of participants.  Conditions suitable for the participants and facilitators/trainers (fitting out of rooms, breaking into groups, cleanliness, lighting, air conditioning/ventilation, reduce noise to create silence.  Availability of technical equipment (projector, microphones, internet, telephone, white board, markers, speakers etc.).  Adequately equipped with modern toilet facilities and situated in a safe and easily accessible area.  Sufficient space for parking yard that can accommodate at least 20 vehicles.  Equipped with a standby power generator with an automatic starting system in case of power supply failure.  Clear with no obstacles like columns, such that the participants can easily follow the presentations sessions easily.  Equipped with well-furnished tables and chairs to enable the participants write easily during the meeting sessions.  A stable wireless internet to avoid disruption during meetings.  Owned by the Contractor and be situated on their premises.  Well organized before the starting time of the meetings or conferences. Procurement procedure reference: 2800UGA-10012  Secretariat room for Enabel organizers with printing, photocopier/ scanner facilities. Specific requirements for the Catering services:  Morning and afternoon breaks (coffee/ tea+ snack (in which at least 1 healthy option such as e.g. fruit is provided).  Morning and afternoon bottle of water.  lunch buffet (buffet (in which at a vegetarian option is provided), water or soft drink).
