• Tenders are invited for Supply and Delivery Of: Mobile Laboratory Van (1 No.) (Lot 1) and Motorcycles. SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF: MOBILE LABORATORY VAN (1 NO.) (LOT 1) AND MOTORCYCLES (15 NO.) (LOT 2). MAAIF-AVCP/SUPLS/2020-21/00040. 1. The Republic of Uganda through the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) has received Financing from the African Development Bank in various currencies towards the cost of Agriculture Value Chain Development Programme (AVCP) - Project 1. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the acquisition of One (01) unit of a Mobile Laboratory Van (Lot 1) and Fifteen (15No.) Motorcycles (Lot 2). 2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies. 3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders. 4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (East African Standard Time). 5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX_50,000/= (Uganda Shillings Fifty Thousand only). The method of payment will be through the Banks authorised to receive non-taxable revenue. 6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(b) at or before 11:00 AM, 28th May, 2021. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of: Lot 1 - of UGX 6,000,000/= (Uganda Shillings Six Million only); and Lot 2 - of UGX 3,000,000/= (Uganda Shillings Three Million only). Bid securities must be valid until 5th October, 2021. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders- representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) at 11:30 AM, 28th May, 2021. 7. There shall be a pre - bid meeting at Agriculture Value Chain Development Programme (AVCP) - Project 1, Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries - Procurement and Disposal Unit Office; 2nd Floor Trust Towers Plot 4 Kyadondo Road, Nakasero - Kampala at 10.00 AM on the dates indicated in the proposed schedule in this notice. 8. (a) Documents may be inspected at and issued from: Procurement and Disposal Unit Offi ce, Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries, Plot 16-18, Lugard Avenue, Entebbe.
