• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Supply of Laboratory Gases for the Directorate of Geological Survey and Mines Laboratories in Entebbe under Framework Contract. 1. The MINISTRY OF ENERGY AND MINERAL DEVELOPMENT has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of the supply of laboratory gases for the directorate of Geological survey and mines Laboratories in Entebbe under framework contract. 2. The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of the laboratory gases under framework Contract. 3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act and are open to all bidders from eligible source countries. 4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7 from 8:30 am -5:00 pm on working days 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 7 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000. The method of payment will be: (a) By bank advice form(s) to be collected from Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development Cash Office, Room A113 on 1st Floor Amber House. A receipt will be issued upon payment. (b) Payment will be made at bank of choice. (c) Bidders return a copy of the payment slip to cash Office for a General Receipt. (d) On presentation of a General Receipt to the Procurement & Disposal Unit in Room C109 on 1st Floor Amber House, Bidders will be issued with a bidding document. The Document can be obtained by the bidders- representative. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery. 6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7 at or before 10:00 am and on 5th /05/2021. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 4,000,000. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders- representatives who may choose to attend at the address below at 7 by 10:30 am and 5th /05/2021 7.
