Description : The EU under the AAP 2019/ GreenUp project has availed € 8.0 million to support the development of the coffee and cocoa value chains in Uganda. The technical assistance (TA) team is expected to assist the Uganda Coffee Development Authority who act as the supervisor of the project, in implementing the project efficiently and effectively through strengthening the human resource and technical capacity. Furthermore, the TA will ensure the delivery of the project's result areas to the public and private beneficiaries of improving the policy and regulatory frameworks and their implementation; enhancing production and productivity; as well as improving the post-harvest handling and marketing. Various contracts involving services and supplies are envisaged to be implemented through indirect management mode with various private and public sector institutions.
