- Prequalifications are invited for Transport Services. Alight (Formerly known as American Refugee Committee) is an international humanitarian agency providing health care and clean water, shelter, protection, and economic opportunity to more than 3.5 million people in 17 countries each year. Alight sees and helps every person make meaningful change in the world - from displaced and marginalized communities in Africa, Middle East, Asia and the Americas. In order to fulfill its mission and vision, Alight Uganda seeks to engage with interested, competent and eligible specialized companies/firms/institutions in various fields for its pre-qualification process with the possibility of entering into framework agreements for the period 2021/2023 Detailed instructions and EOI application documents shall be obtained free of charge upon request and issuance of bid documents by email ONLY clearly stating the lot number and description in the subject line for the specific office of the bidders- preference effective from Thursday 08th April 2021 ONLY through the email addresses below. Bids for Yumbe will be issued and returned through Kampala office. Interested bidders from our Alight field office locations who have no access to emails can contact the respective field office to access the soft copies of the bid documents of their choice. Detail information is provided in EOI instruction documents. Late submissions will NOT be accepted. Our office closes at 2:00 pm on Fridays and are not open on weekends and public holidays. Properly completed bid document should be returned to the above offices sealed in plain envelope and addressed to; The Tendering Committee, Bid for provision of services/supplies ......................................
