Description:
ObjectiveThe primary objective of the EdTech Readiness for TVET (ETRI-TVET) initiative is to evaluate the preparedness of training institutions in Uganda to integrate digital technologies into their educational delivery. This assessment focuses on key areas, including the availability of digital devices, access to reliable connectivity, the digital proficiency of instructors, the use of digital education resources, institutional management practices, and alignment with market demand for skills. PURPOSE OF CONSULTANCYThe purpose of this consultancy is to collect data from training institutions using a Training Institution Survey and In-Person Visit Guide and deliver a clean dataset including all the information collected and audio recordings of all communications with the respondents. The survey will be administered by phone to a national list of training institutions (estimated to be 190 institutions), and the In-Person Visit Guide will be used to collect observations on visits to approximately 20% of the institutions.
