Expression of Interest are invited for Uganda Mubende Maize Market Data. Publication Date: 11-Jan-2023 Expression of Interest Deadline: 24-Jan-2023 Seeking firm to collect data on maize traders, district stores and the quality of maize grain traded in Mubende District, Uganda. This will include information the volumes and quality traded, state of the stores, gender of traders, etc. Firm will develop a user-friendly database, including a dashboard, for monitoring planning and enforcement activities. While Mubende District is one of the top 3 maize producers, over 75% of maize produced/traded is suspected to be of low quality. This information is anecdotal and needs to be explored. Mubende district does not collect data on the ownership of stores and traders selling maize and the volume and quality of maize held by the stores is not known. Such information, presented in simple database is important to guide systematic inspections, maize quality monitoring and planning purposes.
