• Tenders are invited for Re-advertisement Upgrade of Health Centre II to IIIs and Construction of 19 Health Centre III in Selected District Local Governments Across the Country -Lira City (Lot 5) and Ntungamo DLG (Lot 17 and 18) The Government of Uganda has received funds from the World Bank to fund the Intergovernmental Fiscal Transfer (UgIFT) Program for Results (P4R). Ministry of Health under the UgIFT has earmarked 63 Health Centre IIs in 63 Subcounties to be Upgraded to Health Centre IIIs. The Construction will include a: General Ward, Out Patient, Staff House, VIP Latrines, Placenta Pit, Medical Waste Pit, Walkways and External Works. The Ministry of Health now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the proposed Construction works to Upgrade 66 Health Centre IIs to Health Centre IIIs in selected Local Governments listed (hereinafter referred to as “the works” The bidding document which has been prepared in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders at 9(b) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100,000/= (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be according to Specific Lead Local Government for Non-Tax Revenue Collection Procedures. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 9(c) on 19th December 2022 at or before 10:00am. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 25,000,000/= (Uganda Shillings One Hundred and Fifty Million) per lot. The bid security will be in form of a Bank Guarantee obtained from a reputable commercial bank subject to verification and late bids shall be rejected. Bid securities must be valid until 19th July 2023. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders- representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 9(d) at 10:30am There shall be a pre-bid meetings at the Procurement and Disposal Unit of the Lead Local Governments 12th December 2022 at 10:00a.m with the Technical Team from All District Local Governments and MOH to respond to Technical issues. The site visits are mandatory at the respective locations and site visit certificates issued by the respective DLGs. Lack thereof will lead to automatic disqualification during evaluation of Bids.
